Q 1. How is Handmade Paper Made?

Ans. Handmade Paper is made with pure cotton rags. The cotton cloth and hosiery cutting are soaked in water and then beaten into fine pulp. This pulp is then spread on sheets to form paper. The paper is then sun dried and calendared to give them smooth texture. These papers are also mottled with natural flower petals, Jute, Silk Thread, Straw, Grass etc. These papers are then screen printed to make decorative screen-printed papers.


Q 2. Do you make your own paper?

Ans. Yes, we have our own production unit and make paper in house. The handmade paper and decorative paper used in our products as diaries, paper bags, slip pad boxes, photo albums etc. is made in our production house where we help 50 villagers to earn their livelihood.


Q 3. Qualities of Handmade Paper?

Ans. The Handmade paper is made in 100 GSM, 120 GSM, 150 GSM, 200 GSM, 250 GSM thicknesses depending upon its use. This paper is acid free and hence prevents ageing. It is long lasting. It is eco-friendly because no trees are cut for the purpose.


Q 4. Can we write with ink Pen or use water colors on the paper?

Ans. The handmade paper made by us is properly sizes and hence you can use ink pen or water colors without getting the ink smudged.


Q 5. Are these Books refillable?

Ans. These books are made in European style and Bahi binding style in which the paper sections are directly stitched with the covers.But there is Refill diary pattern in which covers are made separately and then refill diaries which are made separately are inserted in them.You can also insert another refill in the same cover when one diary is full and keep the previous one in your book shelf for any reference.


Q 6. Can I add more pages to my Journals?

Ans. Yes and No. Generally our books are made in particular size and pattern so they hold the same number of pages. But in case of customized order we can books of extra thickness which can hold more number of pages.


Q 7. Can you do Custom Design on Journals?

Ans. Yes, We can do Custom design Journals. But keep in mind that they will be costly as we have to make specific dies and have to do other detailing for just one piece, but in case you need say 25- 50 pieces then it can cost somewhat cheaper.


Q 8. Do you sell Journals to the wholesaler or Shop Owners?

Ans. Definitely Yes. We are manufacturer of paper as well as notebooks and Journals. We are more interested in selling Journals to wholesalers or Shop Owners for their own resale. In the case of bulk purchase the customer can contact us directly for rate negotiations and other parameters.


Q 9. How do you ship Your Journals to overseas market?

Ans. We ship the Journals by post but if demanded quickly we can send the parcel by other courier services. For large orders we may use air cargo or ocean cargo.

Q 11. How soon my Journal Ship after I place my order?

Ans. Most of the Journals in stock can be shipped within 5 working days after placing the order. But for larger quantities we will take relevant time.
